Matthew - Owner
Matthew is the third-generation owner of The Henleaze Garden Shop. With a wide knowledge of plant pests and diseases. You can often spot him in his bright shirts about the shop.
Matthews special interest is growing and cooking rare varieties of chillies.
Sarah - Administrator
Sarah mostly works behind the scenes of the garden shop, managing the Google page and can often be seen accompanying Rusty the reindeer during the Henleaze Christmas market.
Ian - Shop Manager
Ian is the shop manager of Henleaze Garden Shop. He can be seen most days keeping the shop stocked and running smoothly. He can also be spotted all around Bristol in the garden shop delivery van.
Ian's special interests are golfing and football
Jeff - Yard Manager
Jeff can normally be found in the garden shop yard organising the flowers he orders for the shop. With many years of working with local growers, Jeff is a fountain of gardening knowledge.
Jeff's special interest is temperate rainforest biomes.
Luke
Luke is the garden shop's pond expert. He not only manages the shop's aquatic plants but also built the shop's pond himself. Luke also orders and manages the wildlife and pet food sections of the shop.
Luke's special interest is competitive power lifting.
Ruby
Ruby is the garden shop's resident houseplant expert. With a wide knowledge of indoor plants, Ruby ensures the shop is stocked with both the classics and rare plants throughout the year.
Ruby's special interests are reading and playing Red Dead Redemption.
Shelley
Shelley is the resident greenhouse grower and can often be found in the back greenhouse growing local veg and flowers for the shop.
Shelley's special interests are arts and crafts and anything to do with animals.
Toby
Toby is one of our amazing retail assistants. With a wealth of knowledge, Toby is an expert at helping customers pick the right plants for them.
Toby's Special interest is perennial plants
Caleb
Caleb is our plant pot buyer. He can often be found sorting out our selection of indoor and outdoor pots or managing the tool sections of the shop witch he also heads up.
Caleb's special intrest is football and running.
Jasmine
Jasmine is one of our amazing retail assistants who loves helping customers select the right plants for their gardens.
Outside of the shop, Jasmin also works as a teaching assistant and volunteers for Avon Wildlife.
Jasmine's special interests are wildlife and making gardening more accessible.
Naomi
Naomi works behind the scenes for the garden shop as our accountant. Though rarely seen at the shop itself, Naomi vital to keep the whole thing running smoothly.
Andy
Andy is a long standing meber of the garden shop and so has lots of experience interacting with customers and taking care of the shop.
Hamish
Hamis is one of our amazing retail assistants with alot of practical knowledge from working on some very big gardens.
Hamis's special interest is strength training and all things nerdy.
